LEARN TO SET YOUR PERSONAL BOUNDARIES
lovingly but firmly, including learning how to say ‘NO’
workshop

09:15 - 17:00
Latteria di Fornesighe
VAL DI ZOLDO (BL)

A personal boundary is an invisible line that allows us to define where we end and other people begin. When we set our boundaries, we communicate clearly the types of behaviour we tolerate and those we cannot tolerate, what our needs are and how we wish to be treated.
In other words, we establish how others can talk to us, touch us, respect us and love us.
Some people will accept our boundaries without difficulty, openly communicating their own too. Others will struggle and our commitment will be to keep reaffirming what we have set and reminding them of what we have established.
Boundaries allow us to protect ourselves, to avoid consuming all our energy in pleasing others, they allow us to develop awareness within ourselves and, above all, to BE ourselves.
Setting boundaries is not an act of selfishness, we should not always have to adapt to other people and situations. Especially if the price we have to pay is to ignore our values, put our health in second place, and to disregard ourselves.
When someone irritates you, do you tend to think:
‘Never mind, let it go, maybe I’ll say something next time’
Or do you respond in a harsh and reactive tone, like:
‘If you’re late once more, I’ll never wait for you again!’
Establishing and setting our boundaries is not easy, but it is important and really worth it.
This workshop will take place in one of the most authentic villages in the Dolomites: safe and cosy, Fornesighe is surrounded by unspoilt nature. We will spend an entire day together in good company, learning and practising vital coaching tools, with various breaks between a gentle yoga practice, a pleasant walk in the woods, breathing techniques, and a delicious, healthy lunch with panoramic mountain views.
